At the Music & Audio Intelligence Lab, we analyze the mechanisms of music and audio-based media using computers and conduct research to create new forms of media expression. Our focus is on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies to develop automatic music composition, performance support systems, and techniques for analyzing instrument characteristics.
